See What We Create

Why Choose Me

For homeowners, landowners, developers and commercial clients who want clarity, confidence and care at every step.

When you work with me, you’re not hiring a large practice or a rotating team you’re working directly with an experienced architectural designer who listens carefully, communicates clearly and stays with your project from first sketch through to submission and beyond.

My approach is personal, practical and detail‑driven. With over 25 years of experience in both rural and urban settings, I bring deep knowledge of planning policy, construction realities, and how people live and work in the spaces they occupy.

What Sets Me Apart

One-to-one service always

You deal directly with me. No handovers. No junior staff. Just a single point of contact who understands your site, your brief and your goals inside-out.

Specialist in residential, rural, countryside and urban extension expertise

Whether your project is:

  • An urban home extension, loft, renovation or reconfiguration
  • A replacement dwelling under RA6
  • A farmstead/yard conversion
  • An edge-of-village redevelopment

I bring a tailored understanding of both countryside sensitivities and dense urban site constraints.

Commercial and retail design capabilities

Beyond residential architecture, I also support:

  • Shop layouts and refits
  • Small commercial units
  • Office alterations
  • Change-of-use
  • Mixed-use development opportunities

My commercial work balances brand, usability and compliance with fire, access and building regulations.

Transparent, time-based fees with clear ceilings

You only pay for the time actually used protected by a maximum ceiling for your peace of mind. No hidden extras, and full clarity before work begins.

Design that balances creativity and buildability

My designs focus on:

  • Daylight, flow and usability
  • Practical construction detailing
  • Cost-awareness
  • Drawings that contractors can price easily

I ensure your design is both inspiring and realistic.

Proven planning success across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties

With over 1,100 projects delivered, I have extensive experience navigating complex residential applications, listed buildings and heritage assets, constrained urban plots, commercial approvals, small site developments, and challenging local policies.

Calm, clear communication no jargon

My job is to make the architectural and planning process understandable. Clients repeatedly comment on feeling supported, informed and fully reassured throughout the journey.

A reputation built on trust and long-term relationships

Most of my work comes from existing clients or personal recommendations — a testament to service quality, reliability and genuine care for outcomes.
